Real Madrid can win the La Liga title on Saturday, and they are doing their bit to ensure that happens. After a frustrating first half against Cadiz at the Santiago Bernabeu, they have found the breakthrough just six minutes into the second period.
Los Blancos create very few chances in the opening 45, but it matters for little now. Brahim Diaz, who has had an excellent season despite not starting regularly, with the goal for Carlo Ancelotti’s side. It was a brilliant strike from the Moroccan international, picking out the far corner from the edge of the box.

Less than a minute before Brahim’s opener, Thibaut Courtois came to the rescue for Real Madrid on this first appearance of the season after nack-to-back knee injuries. Chris Ramos was sent through on goal for Cadiz, but the Belgian ‘keeper stood tall to deny the Andalusians from going in front.

It is great for Real Madrid to have Courtois back, and he was at his best in that moment. He needed to be, and it paid dividends moment later when Brahim found the back of the net.
